Has Tom Cruise finally found his next project?

Tom's been desperately seeking a project that could make him look edgy, cool, respectable, and simply not batshit crazy anymore for a very long time. He wanted to play Iron Man, and acually I think that could have been rather good. But anyway, now it looks like he's eyeing up a collaboration with Sam Raimi to play the main role in SLEEPER, a comic about which I know little, but now may be forced to go out and buy....
