Rumours from various sources that the new film will feature Abner Ravenwood, long lost father of Marion (the woman from the first one who's confirmed in this new one already) and mentor to Indy.
In Raiders of the Lost Ark, he was thought dead in his hunt for the Ark of the Covenant, if memory serves me correctly.
This had led many to speculate (though apparently it is based on a valid source) that the film will once again focus on the Ark, really tying up the series. It may involve the Russians trying to get ahold of it during the Cold War from that big warehouse we saw at the end of the first film. Apparently, that warehouse is in Area 51.
